The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board conducts this common entrance test for admission to ANM and GNM nursing courses. The exam is open to candidates who have passed intermediate. The written test covers Life Science, Physical Science, Mathematics, English, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. Life Science and Physical Science are based on class nine and ten board syllabi and carry the highest marks. Candidates must score well to secure seats in government training schools.
