The West Bengal Civil Service exam is conducted by WBPSC to recruit administrative and executive officers in the state. The selection involves a Preliminary exam, a Main written exam, and a personality test. The Preliminary test is a single paper on General Studies. The Mains phase consists of descriptive and objective papers covering English, Bengali, History, Geography, Polity, Economics, and optional subjects.
