Food Sub-Inspector Recruitment Exam

Eligibility Passed Madhyamik (Class 10) Examination of WBBSE or equivalent; ability to read, write, and speak Bengali/Nepali
Age Limit 18 to 40 years (relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PWD)
Exam Pattern Written Exam (MCQ) & Personality Test
The West Bengal Public Service Commission conducts this exam to recruit Food Sub-Inspectors in the Food and Supplies Department. The selection process has a written test and an interview. The written test is highly competitive and covers Arithmetic and General Studies of matriculation level. Arithmetic requires quick calculation speed, while General Studies covers Indian history, geography, and current affairs. Preparing for Food SI takes three to six months of regular practice.
