The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board conducts this exam to hire constables in the state police force. It is one of the largest police recruitment drives in India. The written exam covers General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical Ability, and Mental Aptitude. General Hindi and Uttar Pradesh GK have a high weightage. Candidates must also clear a physical standard and efficiency test. Preparing for the written exam takes three to six months of focused study.
